Tennessee State University hosted Lincoln University of California at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. The Oaklanders football team is one of the newest NCAA D1 programs and travels for all games. Four of its 12 games in 2023 were against HBCUs. Lincoln-CA is not an HBCU, but it does have a 52% black student population and 61% overall minorities according to US News. It also has a 24% international student population. The 2x Grammy-winning TSU Aristocrat of Bands performed at halftime. This was recorded from the top level of Nissan Stadium.
