I meet Boricua over Taman Bay and saw at the speeds we were merging that it was going to be an angles fight. As we enter visual range, I slide to the left to create turning room. Then, as I notice him turn to meet me, I bank back towards the right, hoping to confuse him on which way I'm going to turn at the pass (to be honest, I don't think *either* of us knew which way the other was going to turn). If my cockpit view of the merge seems confusing, hopefully the exterior views will clear things up. I turn nose-high and basically pivot on my wing. Boricua turns nose-low and has to fight gravity to get his nose around on the way up. But I rate my nose around faster and bring that 30mm cannon to bear, getting some good snap hits. On the second pass, his Flanker is crippled. On the third, I destroyed his jet just as he ejected.
