While in college, a former CIA agent was brought to one of my classes by one of my activist professors as a guest speaker. He revealed that the government rounded up homeless people at night and turned them into lab rats for their lab-created diseases. Before the CIA agent got a chance to go on a national college tour, he was assassinated.
