IT'S NOT ENOUGH TO HAVE A FEELING OF LOVE, THE LOVE MUST BE BASED ON THE RIGHT FOUNDATION! A love that flows out of hatred is a love that's ultimately SELFISH and SELF-CENTERED. Love that comes out of hate is a love where you're going to love somebody who maintain you in your SELF-DECEPTION and SELF-DESTRUCTIVENESS. A part of the problem with the black love situation is that we've been duped into SELF-HATRED by the European. He's made us hate our skin, our hair, our noses and lips, Africa and the whole African heritage. Consequently, we're going to "love" someone who doesn't remind us of who we are and what we are. We move then in our love towards people who can make us ESCAPE from that which we hate (OURSELVES). That's why we'll often "love" our enemies if those enemies can take us away from ourselves. – Dr. Amos Wilson
