The newly formed Redemption Party unseated the democrats and beat the republicans in the elections just a few weeks ago. The party was cofounded by Ashaki Nichols and Shane Williams-Inez, both African American and they won in a town were less than 5% of the total population is African American. Shane Williams-Inez is the youngest African American male to start a political party in the U.S.
