Stop the spending Henry County

Henry County Government is planning to increase the annual budget by another 7% or $15,103,842.00. Although they’re not increasing the mileage rate, they are intentionally assessing the value of our homes higher to increase collections of our tax dollars when the market values are significantly down. Depending on where you live, you’re already paying more. Elected individuals who live at home with their parents or rent, should not be making decisions that hurt HOMEOWNERS because they don’t understand the responsibility or don’t have to burden the cost of they’re bad decisions.
