In this powerful message, I, Peter Grear, alongside Esther Mambu, address the global Black community with an urgent call to action. We delve into the critical importance of providing quality education for every child in Africa—a foundation that is essential for building resilient communities and robust economies across the continent.

We paint a vivid picture of the current state of many African schools: overcrowded classrooms and a severe lack of basic educational resources. These challenges are exacerbated by the exploitative practices of multinational corporations that profit from Africa's rich resources without reinvesting in the communities they impact. We challenge these corporations to shift from mere profit-making to becoming true partners in Africa's development by investing meaningfully in education.

Esther speaks directly to Black students in the diaspora, urging them to advocate for their African counterparts by amplifying their voices and sharing their stories. We outline actionable steps that each of us can take:
1. Spread the Word: Raise awareness about the urgent need for quality education in Africa.
2. Demand Corporate Accountability: Call on corporations operating in Africa to reinvest in the communities they profit from.
3. Organize and Advocate: Join black organizations, form coalitions, and participate in global campaigns to support African-led educational programs.
4. Leverage Economic Power: Use our collective spending power of over $1.5 trillion to influence corporate behavior and encourage companies like PepsiCo to align with Pan-African values.

This is not just a call for charity—it's a call for justice, opportunity, and the empowerment of Africa's youth. By uniting and demanding meaningful contributions from multinationals, we can create sustainable change and forge strong links between Black communities worldwide.
